At gertrud we are convinced that boards of directors, supervisory boards and executives in general currently waste too much time organizing and conducting their meetings. The point is to make decisions as efficiently as possible and to focus on adding value to the business. That is why we built gertrud.

We named our company gertrud, in reference to the grandmother of two of our founders that shared the name. Gertrud stands for a strong woman that was the center of their families and held all the threads together. She was the CEO of our family! The products of gertrud take exactly this role in modern executive collaboration.

Gertrud is a good example of what can come from a passion for a subject. The software was developed right in my office and forged into a product with a lot of entrepreneurial dedication by a small, committed team.

Whether you work from our Hamburg office, directly on the world famous Reeperbahn or completely remote is for you to decide. We are a remote company and live it - whether from a van in Greece, a sailboat in Turkey or a finca in the Canary Islands. Even though we work remotely most of the time, we invest considerable time and money to regularly meet in person and spend social as well as work time together.
